‘Raakvlakken, where we meet

‘Raakvlakken, where we meet’ is a similar research to The Oilrituals but in another material, clay, and with another outcome: a sculpture in plaster that forms a bedding for encounter. From this work I derived smaller sculptures to discover with the hands.

A mini version of the experience. with the eyes closed you can find yourself in touch with touch itself.

​As a meditative practice, it reminds us of the delicacy involved in the transfer of information through our hands. The neural pathways are endless and deeply satisfied when reawakened to the modality of deep sensing.
